Led by Asheville-based nonprofit Local Cloth\, this beginner-friendly class introduces participants to Sashiko\, a traditional Japanese stitching technique rooted in repair\, reinforcement\, and decorative design. \nDuring the workshop\, students will learn the fundamentals of Sashiko while practicing six different stitching patterns.
